ABOUT US

“Wherever we see the Word of God purely preached and heard, there a church of God exists, even if it swarms with many faults.”

- John Calvin

The Church is the one institution that exists for those outside it.

- William Tyndale

OUR VISION

To be the community where Lord Jesus is explored and lived out individually and collectively in the present generation and generations to come in the city of Hyderabad and other cities.

"...and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth...” Acts 1:8

WHAT WE DO

We are devoted to answer the questions people have at every stage of their lives from the life of Lord Jesus. For we strongly believe that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life for fruitful life here up on the earth and celebrated life after the death.

"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6"

OUR COMMUNITY

We are a bunch of passionate people with the burden to serve God like his Son Lord Jesus served, denying his own will and doing  the will of the Father not just once but all his earthly life which includes the death on the cross.

Lord Jesus came to this world two thousand years ago to save sinners from their sins, and therefore we partner with him today in the same business of saving his people from their sins.

We are a young bunch of people,  launching the church and we definitely need more people to join our team who have no other passion but the passion of Jesus Christ.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Infallibility of The Scriptures

The Bible we hold now is an accessible and readable version of original writings which are the work of God through an inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

To elaborate further :

The Scriptures are absolute in natureThe scriptures are verbal inspiration,  plenary inspiration, inerrant, unlimitedly inerrant, and infallible word from God through different men in different times. In simple words it means that  original writings are absolute in nature.

Though the scriptures are by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit directly but it still retained the human authorship which included the author's life, his ability, his passion, his style, etc. As absolute holy God came in the human flesh, similarly absolute holy scriptures came through human authors.

CanonizationIn order to preserve the inerrancy of the whole counsel of God, God had also used church fathers and others of like stature, to canonize the inspired scriptures. They were like the authors of the Holy Scriptures similarly inspired to recognize, authorize and seal the whole counsel of God in one book which we call now The Holy Bible.

It's not people who gave authority to these collections of books but the very inherent authority in those books helped people to recognize canonization. They were inspired holy scriptures in circulation even before canonization.

Therefore the belief in the inerrancy of the scripture and growing in the Faith of the scriptures are true marks of the genuine faith in the bosom of any person.

God Of The Bible- One God, The Creator God

In the beginning, God created heavens and earth" (Gen. 1:1).

Following are a few fundamental subjects about God. Based on the very first verse of the infallible scriptures of God, the gift to mankind, the Bible. I) The God in Solitude, II) The God is the Creator and the Custodian

I. The God in Solitude “In the beginning, God"

There was a time, if "time" it could be called, when God dwelt all alone; though in the unity of His nature (subsisting equally in three persons).

God was under no constraint, no obligation, no necessity to create. That He chose to do so was purely a sovereign act on His part, caused by nothing outside Himself, determined by nothing but His own good pleasure. for He "worketh all things after the counsel of His own will" (Eph. 1:11). That He did create was simply for His manifestation glory. He is glorious enough in Himself

(-A.W. Pink)

And if that is the Truth, then therefore a proper and right understanding of the man or any angelic being about their own origin must sensibly lead them to acknowledge God’s good  great kindness for their own Genesis (*Colossians 1:15-17). If  it is right and acceptable for every child to be thankful and honor their parents to give them a birth and raise them in this world, How much more it is right and acceptable to glorify and honour their Creator for same given reasons (Psalm 148:1-5). The Man or the Angel have no right to be boastful or to take pride before their creator, for He chose  their creation. Otherwise He could choose to continue in solitude for eternity,  of which he was perfectly capable in the community of Godhead.

 John 1:1,2

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God

*Psalm 148

Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord From the heavens;

Praise Him in the heights!

2 Praise Him, all His angels;

Praise Him, all His hosts!

3 Praise Him, sun and moon;

Praise Him, all stars of light!

4 Praise Him, highest heavens,

And the waters that are above the heavens!

5 Let them praise the name of the Lord,

For He commanded and they were created

*Colossians 1:15-17

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

II) The God is the Creator and the Custodian“In the beginning, God created heavens and earth "

a) God created absolutely the entire universe out of absolutely nothing.

b) And created with his word; as Psalmist perfectly puts it in Psalm 33 “ He commanded and it stood fast".

c) And God created absolutely everything through His Son Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:1-3).

d) And The God sustains whole of His creation and He does through His Son (Genesis 8:22; Colossians 1:17)

Psalm 33:6-9

By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,

And by the breath of His mouth all their host.

7 He gathers the waters of the sea together [a]as a heap;

He lays up the deeps in storehouses.

8 Let all the earth fear the Lord;

Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.

9 For He spoke, and it was done;

He commanded, and it [b]stood fast.

*Colossians 1:15-17

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For [x]by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

John 1:1-3

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 [a]He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being

Genesis 8:22

“While the earth remains,

Seedtime and harvest,

And cold and heat,

And summer and winter,

And day and night

Shall not cease.”

God-The Triune

God the Triune:

God Is One; but revealed Himself as three distinct  blessed persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in the Holy Scriptures. This doctrine is based not just on trinitarian passages but based primarily on how Scriptures speaks of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

God The Father:

God in His good pleasure and grace, revealed Himself to man who is the chief of all His creation upon the earth; God is the one who is distinct; the Creator; coexisting in fellowship of God the Son eternally; He is the one Holy and dwells in unapproachable glory, He is the Supreme, He is the law giver, He is the one who holds times in His authority.

God The Son:

God in His good pleasure and grace revealed His Son in inspired scriptures; One who is distinct, the creator, He is coexisting with God the Father eternally; He is the one sharing  glory of God; He Is the God incarnated in the image of man; He is the Truth and the express image of God; He is the Servant upon whose work the salvation of mankind is designed.

God The Holy Spirit:

God in His good pleasure and grace revealed the invisible but the perceptible Holy Spirit; One who is distinct; the author of the inspired scriptures; He is the One who operated the incarnation of God The Son in the image of man; He is the inspiration and persuasion in the hearts of  men unto salvation; He is the One through whom God the Father and God the Son manifest themselves in the hearts of His children.

Gospel-The Truth

Gospel For Men

Gospel means good news from The God to man about man's redemption, justification, sanctification and glorification; and all of it is completely dependent on the accomplished and finished work of the Son of God Lord Jesus Christ through the cross.

Gospel For God

Gospel is the good message of the accomplishment of Lord Jesus Christ upon the cross, which thoroughly satisfied God’s Righteousness and God’s Love for man.

Church-The Body Of Christ Jesus

The truth concerning the Church can be understood under three main subjects, namely the Transcendent Church, the Universal or the World Church and the Local Church.

Transcendent Church:

This is the invisible and spiritual Church being built by the Lord Jesus Christ, this is not bound by time nor by space; this is the Body wherein God has filled it with all His fullness in absolute sense; every stone is living stone no dead stone is found; this is the standard or model church based on which the Universal Church and the Local Church have to model themselves.

Universal church or World Church:

This is a time bound church, which is present now and spreads across the Globe. It is one church as well as many, one because it is built on the same foundational truth the Gospel, but many because it is geographical separated and also many because of peripheral doctrinal differences.

Local Church:

The local church is a time bound and geographically bound community available for the children of God to exercise the biblical truths and to exercise the love of God for one another in a very practical way. In the Bible we clearly notice that these local communities were available at a different geographical locations, for example Church at Jerusalem, Church at Antioch, Church at Ephesus, Church at Corinth, etc. As Jesus Christ was reflecting the character and personality of God, the local church is called to imitate Lord Jesus Christ in showing the glory of God.

Church Covenant

Having been led, as we believe, by the Holy Spirit, to receive the Lord Jesus as our Savior, and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God, angels and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ Jesus.

We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in careful exegesis of the holy scriptures in all its proclamations, in its teachings, and in its practices as a community, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in christian love; to strive the advancement of this church, in knowledge, in holiness, in care; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrines; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.

We also engage to watch over one another in brotherly love for the progress in the knowledge of God's word and  in godliness; to remember each other in prayer; to aid each other in sickness and distress; to cultivate christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation and repentance.

We further engage to maintain family and private devotions; to religiously educate our children in gospel truth and in secular skills; to strive in promoting knowledge of the word and godliness in our immediate families, to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances; to walk circumspectly in the world; to be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements, and exemplary in our vocations; and to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Saviour.

We moreover engage that when we remove from this place, we will as soon as possible unite with some other church where we can carry out the principles of God’s word and the spirit of this covenant.
