WHO IS YOUR SHEPHERD?

“The LORD is my shepherd” Psalm 23:1

Dear Brother and Sister In Christ, God bless you with all the blessings which are assured in the Psalm 23.

The LORD is my shepherd,...”

What an analogy to explain the possible relationship that can exist between a believer and the Lord. If we care to dive deep into the Psalm I am sure that we will come to the conclusion that

“The Lord” is the key phrase upon which the whole meaning and blessing of the rest of the Psalm promises depends. If you replace “The Lord” with “The Satan” or “ The Money” or “The Husband” or “The Family” or “ The Friend” or “The Skill” or “The Strength” then how will the rest of Psalm sound, I leave that to your imagination.

My dear brothers, this Psalm becomes less glorious, less comforting if you  replace it with whatever best thing you may possess, even worse and utterly terrifying if you replace “the Lord” with “ the Thief” or “ the Satan” or “the Self”.

So What Do We Learn From This  Phrase?

We learn that David is the man of extraordinary faith for he made God as his Shepherd for his needs, for his rest, for his guidance, for his security, for his providence, for his prosperity, for KINDNESS, for LOVE and the most important part FOR HIS ETERNAL HOPE.

Is That Your Faith Statement Today, “The Lord Is My Shepherd”, Will That Be Your Determination To Make “ The Lord” as your shepherd. My dear brother, I encourage you to join David, in fact let us join with David without any second thought and without waiting for even a fraction of second in making “The Lord” as “Our Shepherd”  so that we may enjoy God's Care and prosperity.
